Wells Fargo stint is over
I was told at the beginning that this job would have the possibility of being hired, though they never comitted to calling it "temp-to-hire." 6 months later the assignment has ended. I'm really not that dissapointed about it, because I've been wanting to take advantage of a connection through the in-laws to try to get a "real" job at ING.

To make a long story short, I have a phone interview with ING on Monday, after submitting my resume yesterday. I'm hoping it goes well, and I can find a place within in that company. It seems like a great place to work for, they're hiring tons of people currently, and their benefits are incredible.

But anyway - I have about 45 minutes left here (no work left to do, and it's been pretty minimal for the last month anyway) at Wells and then I'm unemployed, at least for a little bit.

Life's well otherwise. Being married is good. It isn't really any different before we got married. Saying "my wife" comes pretty naturally to me.

That's about it.......

ING is a good company to work for. And not only are those benefits great, but they start they day you walk in the door for training - nice. That is somewhat difficult to find these days. I had applied there while pregnant - the manager loved my resume, but the next training class was this past January and was several weeks long. Pretty much by the time I was out of training I would have gone on maternity leave, so it was just bad timing. But everything works out - I make more money now than I would have starting in that position, so it's ok.

GOOD LUCK!
